Between September 12-14th 2022 the Digital Storytelling research project met at the University of Cambridge (and online) to discuss the work we have done and future directions and recommendations. It was an extremely successful workshop where we were able to discuss many topics relating to digital storytelling and the metsemegologolo archive. We heard from several brilliant experts on topics such as:
- The metsemegologolo archival structure, processes of archiving and establishing standards for data collection – in particular with spatial data
- Data storage and sustainability
- Storytelling with metsemegologlo and how we can use archives for storytelling, best practices, self-directed storytelling, and how StoryMaps can be used for education
